Holiday Club

Our Holiday Club is a fun and exciting out of schools club that runs throughout all school holidays. We provide a safe and friendly environment where children and young people can make new friends from other local schools and enjoy a wide range of sporting and arts activities.

We have developed the holiday club to assist the transition into secondary school from primary school with tailor made programmes to suite our two age groups, 5-7 years and 8-15years while coming together for selected sessions.

If you want to drop off or collect outside of these times, please call ahead so we can ensure your child is ready.

Boys and girls will enjoy activities such as swimming, football, dance, cricket, music, arts and crafts, jewellery making, treasure hunts, nature walks and much more. All of our activities are tailored to suit every child removing the need not to participate and ensuring everyone has a great time.

Each week takes on a theme which runs through all the activities and ends the week in style with a party on the Friday.

We also have guest coaches from time to time running sessions like judo, street dance and cycling.

This variety of activities makes our Holiday Club exiting and different for children.

We encourage feedback from the children to enable us to continuously adapt and improve our timetables. We also welcome parent feedback; a questionnaire can be obtained from reception.

A registration form must be completed prior to attending our Holiday Club. This is to ensure staff are fully aware of any issues or ailments your child may have.

We provide drinks including water and sugar-free cordials to the children at no extra cost which is available at all times. There are vending machines on-site to purchase drinks and snacks. Children/young people are required to bring their own packed lunch. We have no refrigeration facilities to store lunch boxes so please avoid including perishable foods.

Suitable clothing, footwear:

While attending the Holiday Club children/young people will partake in sporting activities both inside and outside as well as arts and crafts. It is important that parents/carers ensure suitable clothing and footwear is worn. Children/young people may get dirty while enjoying our activities so please take this into consideration.

Sun safety:

We often take the children outside; it is the responsibility of the parent to make sure that children are adequately protected from the sun. Our staff cannot apply sunscreen to children so we would advise that you apply this before attending. Children/young persons may also bring their own sunscreen to apply it themselves. Staff will advise children on this issue and avoid young children being exposed to the sun for excessive periods.
