Fitness events of all kinds are excellent ways to keep motivated as they give you a goal to train too.

Whether it's a 10k run, triathlon or charity event, our Fitness Instructors are more than happy to work with you to devise a programme to help you prepare.

Aspire Channel Swim

 
22 miles, 12 weeks, your pool! Swim the distance of the English Channel and raise money for people paralysed by spinal chord injuries.  Join the challenge on your own, in a team or with your class or colleagues and take on the 22 miles at our pool, in your own time.

Wouldn't it be great to be able to say "I swan the English Channel?"

Tough Mudder

What is Tough Mudder?  Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile obstacle course designed to test all-around strength, stamina, teamwork, and mental grit. Tough Mudder is Probably the Toughest Event on the Planet. Probably.

Great Manchester Run - 10k or Half Marathon

Europe's biggest 10k, featuring a great course, bands, activities, entertainment and a 'run through' shower to keep you cool. Half Marathon distance brand new for 2017.

Lancashire Loop Cycle - 18 or 50 mile

The Lancashire Loop Cycle Ride offers you two circular routes, each taking you on a beautiful journey through picturesque Lancashire countryside.

Tip!  The 18 mile option is the flattest of the routes and most suitable for novice cyclists and those cycling with children, and the 50 mile route hits you with a few hills to start off with but, once you’re past the 30 mile point, it becomes a lot flatter.

Windermere Triathlon

Windermere Triathlon begins with a 1,5km open water swim across the geographical centre of the of Lake Windermere, followed by 43km bike along winding, undulating and rugged lakeland roads, and finally 5 fast and flat 2km laps complete the 10km run and Tri Windermere.

Uswim Open Water

Uswim loves the open water and offers clean, safe swim sessions suitable for all ages / abilities as well as lots of exciting events. Swim all year round in Manchester (Salford Quays) and Summer in Cheshire (Boundary Water Park). Join us for a dip, you’ll love it!

Manchester Survival of the Fittest

The Manchester event has pegged itself as a firm favourite, packing our muddiest and arguably our wettest course. (Hint: Manchester is a city of canals!) Packing a punishing 10k route woven through Etihad Campus, the Etihad Stadium itself and into Phillips Park, our Manchester course features loads of mud, full-body dunkings and immersion in water, canal crossings and a whopping great Stadium Climb. And that’s not to mention the beer tent, which is an Event in itself!

The Manchester Event is also an opportunity for Northerners everywhere to gang up on their Southern counterparts as Manchester will again be pitched as 1 of our 2 finale events alongside London, packing extra obstacles, a superlatively action-packed course and bragging rights for the whole field if you beat London!
